Can you keep your family safe during a home invasion situation? Is there someone in the next room that intends to harm you or your family? Learn how to protect yourself!
Bare Knuckle Defense, LLC is offering a unique opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Close Quarters Home Defense in a Safe environment with the professional, knowledgeable and experienced crew at BKD.
You will receive approximately 1.5-2hours of classroom instruction where you will learn many techniques of Close Quarters Techniques, manipulation of your firearm while opening doors, clearing malfunctions and target acquisition. Following the classroom instruction you will navigate a four room shoot house where you can test your new skills. Although you will not be fired upon, you will be put into a stressful situation against live adversaries where you will be required make shoot and no shoot decision.
The course will use 9mm live action, non-lethal rounds and less-than-lethal shotgun ammunition.
The cost of the course is $100 per person, lasting approximately 4 hours. All targets, firearms and ammo is supplied by BKD. You are required to bring weather appropriate gear, a good attitude, food and drink as needed. Basic eye and ear protection will be supplied but you are more than welcome to bring your own.
ABSOLUETLY NO OUTSIDE AMMUNITION WILL BE ALLOWED. If you have a home defense 12 GA shotgun you would like to use, you can bring it but please ensure it is unloaded prior to showing up, BKD staff will ensure it is put in the armory.
Each person will go through several stages of safety checks to ensure we are providing a safe environment for all. If you travel with a firearm, we will store it for you until the completion of the course. Please do not bring children under the age of 13. All children 13 and above will be allowed to participate in the classroom portion but not the live fire course of instruction.
